Hey there! We’re Cass and Jess—the women behind Recover Well.

Two strangers turned business partners turned lifelong friends, on a mission to redefine recovery with heart, soul, and a lot of fun.

We barely knew each other when we jumped into our first business together almost a decade ago—a fitness franchise that we brought to Louisville and built into the best of its kind. We didn’t just create a place to work out; we built a community where people showed up for more than just fitness—they came for the friendships, the laughter, and the feeling of being part of something bigger.

how it started

Through our first business, we witnessed firsthand that social connection was the secret to sticking with healthy habits.

When we discovered the incredible benefits of cryotherapy and infrared sauna, we were hooked. But we couldn’t help but notice a problem: most studios felt sterile, overpriced, or just plain uninviting. We craved a space that felt welcoming and fun—a place where recovery wasn’t just a chore, but something to look forward to, especially with a friend by your side.

That’s when the dream for Recover Well was born.

Well, it turns out, dreaming and doing are two very different things. And if we’re being honest—getting here wasn’t easy. There were more hurdles than we could count, and plenty of late nights wondering if we’d made a huge mistake. But giving up? Not in our DNA. We pushed through, because we believed in this vision with everything we had.
